The brainchild of Marybeth Sprague, owner and operator of the business, Epiphany Desktop Publishing was established in the year 2000.

Marybeth had been working as the bulletin editor for a Catholic church in Chicago when the idea came to her like a bolt of lightning — an epiphany, to be sure — that she could produce more than one bulletin, as well as other types of publications.

Her background in parish work, a degree in English with a minor in religious studies, and her experience in editing, layout, and writing seemed like the right combination of skills and experience. Epiphany Desktop Publishing was born!
